LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Naafiri wins most extended trades due to her packmates providing extra damage and her E gap-close making it hard to kite; you can survive short trades by using Q to poke and W to block her E dash, but you cannot win a sustained fight.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the dynamic — not because you beat her 1v1, but because the threat of a global teleport forces her to respect your presence, and if she overextends to kill you, your R can turn a 2v1 elsewhere.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q from range, then immediately W her E if she tries to engage, absorbing her burst and her packmates' damage before retaliating with your own E taunt into a short combo.
- Never let her land a free E-into-full-combo on you without your W active, as her burst with packmates will chunk you heavily before you can respond.
Wave Control
- You want to slow-push the wave by last-hitting carefully and letting it build in your favor, so you can crash a large wave and either back safely or roam with R.
- Avoid shoving the wave early because Naafiri clears quickly and will use the reset to all-in you at low HP or roam herself.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to all-in Naafiri when her packmates are alive and her E is available — her combined damage output will outduel you even with your W active.
- Many Shen players waste W on her Q poke rather than saving it for her E engage, which is the ability that actually threatens your life.
