Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Syndra's poke range matches or exceeds yours, and Caitlyn's sustained damage means you burn through your shield passive quickly without winning trades.
  • Post-6, your R is a game-changer that gives you a genuine kill setup on Caitlyn, who has no reliable escape if she is charmed and rooted simultaneously with Tristana jumping in.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to E into Tristana's jump — land your root on Caitlyn first, then Tristana follows with her E to deal burst damage while Caitlyn is CC'd and cannot net away.
  • Use your W to heal Tristana during extended trades rather than as a poke tool, since Tristana needs sustain to survive Caitlyn's headshot damage between all-in windows.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should not roam frequently — Tristana without peel is vulnerable to Syndra's all-in, and your lane needs your presence to survive Caitlyn's poke.
  • The one exception is post-6 when your R can secure a kill in mid lane, but only roam if the wave is crashed and Tristana has enough HP to survive a short solo period.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E as a random poke tool into Syndra's range — missing your E means Tristana has no setup for her all-in and you have wasted your primary kill-threat ability on a whiff.
  • Avoid stacking your passive shield by standing near Tristana in trades, as Caitlyn's Q pierces through and Syndra's Q will hit both of you, burning the shield before the real trade even begins.
