Senna & Yunara vs Aphelios & Milio

Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Yunara have the weaker 2v2 — Milio's sustain directly counters your Q poke pattern, and Yunara is immobile enough that Aphelios can freely cycle weapons and punish her without fear of her E dash.
  • Post-6, Yunara's R changes the dynamic significantly in your favor, but you need to set it up: root Aphelios with your Q the moment Yunara activates R so he cannot kite her dash and the combined laser-slow plus your CC creates an unkillable combo.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to poke Aphelios with Q from max range to force Milio to spend his passive shield charges, then when Milio's shield is down, root Aphelios simultaneously as Yunara activates R to deny him the kite window he needs to survive her Transcendent State.
  • Do not trade symmetrically — your value is asymmetric poke and CC setup, not sustained fighting, so avoid standing in Milio's W root range while trying to poke.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should not roam pre-6 because Yunara is immobile without R and leaving her alone against Aphelios + Milio is a death sentence — she cannot escape Crescendum all-ins without your CC to interrupt their engage.
  • Post-6, a roam after Yunara's R forces a flash or kill is viable, but only if the wave is pushed to their tower so Yunara has a safe recall window.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your passive soul collection as an excuse to walk up aggressively into Milio's W root range — Milio will root you and Aphelios will punish with a free weapon swap trade that you cannot heal through without Milio's support.
  • Wasting your R on a lane where Milio's ultimate can cleanse your root and Aphelios can disengage freely is a major mistake — save it for when Yunara's R is active and the fight is already committed.
