Who Wins
- Pre-6, this lane is roughly even with a slight edge to Ashe+Vel'Koz because Ashe's W slow and Vel'Koz's Q knockup let them chain CC onto you before you can safely proc your Q heal; post-6, you gain meaningful sustain and poke range but Ashe's R can still initiate a kill chain on you through your R if Vel'Koz follows up with E+Q.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use Jhin's W root to lock Ashe or Vel'Koz in place, then walk up and land your Q on the rooted target to both deal damage and heal — never trade without Jhin's W already connecting first, as raw auto-trading into Ashe's slows puts you in a losing position.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to play a slow-push strategy: use your Q to poke while last-hitting wraith souls, letting the wave build so Jhin can set up a freeze or crash a large wave to deny Ashe her safe farm under tower.
