LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose the poke war at levels 1 and 2 due to Tristana's range, but at level 3 your full kit lets you threaten a real trade if you can land your E slow and get into flamethrower range; post-6, your R is a massive equalizer that can cut off her escape or force her to burn Flash, but she can still R you away and reset the fight if you don't use it to zone rather than just deal damage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait her into pushing up, then use E to close the gap and slow her, activate W to sustain through her burst, and dump your overheated autos and Q damage before she can kite out — never trade without your E landing first, as she will simply walk away from your flamethrower range.
Wave Control
- Let Tristana push the wave into you early so you can farm safely under tower and avoid her poke, then look for all-in opportunities when she overextends without her R available; once you hit level 6, use your R to cut off her retreat path before engaging rather than using it reactively after she's already running.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your heat by going into overheat randomly without being in range to deal damage — mismanaging your heat meter means you have no W healing and no overheat damage when she actually commits to a trade, which is the primary reason Rumble players lose this matchup despite having the tools to win it.
