Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you win most trades with your mobility advantage and shield, especially at level 3 when you have full combo potential.
  • Post-6 becomes Sylas-favored if he steals your R, so you need to either kill him quickly or avoid extended fights.

How to Trade

  • Use E-W-AA-Q combos for short trades, then disengage before Sylas can respond with W sustain.
  • Save your third Q for disengaging or gap closing, never waste all charges in one combo unless going for a kill.

Wave Control

  • Freeze the wave near your tower early to deny Sylas CS and force him into dangerous positions for last hits.
  • Avoid hard pushing unless you can roam, as Sylas clears waves efficiently and benefits from farming safely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use R carelessly when Sylas is nearby with his R available, as giving him Wind Slash completely shifts the power dynamic.
