Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 to Jayce's range and poke, but have kill pressure at level 3 with Q-W-E if you can close the gap.
  • Post-6 your R significantly increases your all-in potential and you can win if you land a full combo on Jayce.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is using E to absorb his Q poke, then engaging with Q-W combo when his abilities are on cooldown.
  • Save your third Q for gap closing or disengaging, and never trade without your E shield available.

Wave Control

  • Let Jayce push early and farm safely with Q, then look for freezes near your tower where you can run him down with full combo.
  • Use the minion wave as cover to avoid his ranged Q poke while looking for engage opportunities.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste your E shield on minion damage or use all three Q charges to engage without a clear kill opportunity.
  • Never fight Jayce in open areas where he can kite you - always look for fights near walls or in minion waves where you can stick to him.
