Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with Q in ranged form, but must respect Riven's level 3 all-in potential when she gets Q-W-E.
- Post-6 you maintain advantage if you manage range properly, but Riven's R gives her significant kill pressure if she lands a full combo.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q poke in ranged form followed by immediate E to disengage, or full hammer combo (Q-E in melee) when Riven wastes abilities on minions.
- Never trade in extended fights without your full combo available.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish range advantage and deny Riven farm, then maintain slow pushes to keep minions between you and her engage range.
