LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades at levels 1-3 if you land E-W-Q-E out before Urgot can stack his W passive on you, but Urgot's W auto-attack replacement and passive resistances make extended trades increasingly dangerous as the lane goes on; post-6, Urgot's R fundamentally changes the dynamic because a low-health Renekton can be executed outright, meaning you lose the all-in potential that defines your kit.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is a quick E in, W-stun, empowered Q for the heal, then E out before Urgot's W can cycle through enough hits to shred your armor and deal meaningful damage; never commit to a full trade without Fury stacked, as trading without empowered W or Q removes your sustain and leaves you taking Urgot's consistent damage for free.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave and force Urgot to farm under tower, because his W makes him deceptively strong in short skirmishes near minions and he outscales you in a drawn-out lane; shoving also denies him the ability to freely poke you with his Q and E, which he can do safely when the wave is neutral or in his favor.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Urgot get his E off on you when you are below roughly 25% health, as his R becomes a guaranteed kill threat the moment he lands it; many Renekton players dive aggressively post-6 thinking their R gives them enough health buffer, but Urgot's R executes below a threshold regardless of your current burst potential.
