Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win almost every extended trade and all-in from level 2 onward due to your empowered W stun, E mobility, and burst damage — Singed has no reliable way to trade back if you land your combo cleanly, and his Q poison only matters if he's running away or you're standing in it.
  • Post-6, your R gives you enough sustain and damage to still win all-ins, but Singed's R dramatically increases his tankiness and poison damage, so drawn-out fights start to favor him more than before.

How to Trade

  • The correct pattern is to E in, land empowered W to stun, Q for healing, then E out before his Q poison stacks deal meaningful damage — you want short, decisive bursts, not prolonged fights where you're soaking poison.
  • Never chase him in a straight line after he flips you with E, as that's exactly the scenario where his Q shreds you; instead, disengage or reposition before re-engaging on your terms.

Wave Control

  • You want to crash waves into his tower early to deny him free roaming and force him to farm under pressure, since Singed is most dangerous when he's allowed to proxy or roam freely.
  • Avoid letting the wave slow-push toward you in a long side lane, as that gives him a safe environment to proxy behind you and starve you of CS while avoiding your kill pressure.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not chase Singed deep into his jungle or toward his tower when he's running — his entire kit is designed to punish exactly that, and his E flip plus Q poison trail will turn your aggression into a death.
  • Respect his level 6 power spike more than most players do; his R makes him significantly harder to kill and many Renekton players overcommit post-6 expecting the same pre-6 dominance.
