Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup convincingly, especially at level 2 when you can stack W and E to burst Kayn before he can disengage — Kayn has no reliable escape early and his damage is conditional on stacking his passive, which takes time.
- Post-6 the matchup shifts depending on Kayn's form: Shadow Assassin makes him a genuine threat to burst you in a short trade, while Rhaast gives him sustain that can outlast your fury windows if you trade poorly.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to use E to close the gap, immediately W to stun, then Q for the heal and auto-weave before he can reposition — this maximizes your burst window and denies him the extended trade he needs.
- Avoid long drawn-out trades without fury stacked, as your damage and healing are dramatically lower outside of empowered abilities.
Wave Control
