LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most extended trades due to your W stun locking Kalista in place and denying her mobility, which is her primary defensive tool — she cannot dash while stunned.
- Post-6, your R gives you sustain and AoE pressure that Kalista cannot match in a 1v1, but she will kite you more effectively as the lane goes longer and she stacks E on minions for repositioning.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for Kalista to commit to a last-hit animation, then engage with E dash into W stun, burn her with empowered Q, and E out before she can reposition — the key is forcing the trade when her mobility is momentarily committed.
- Avoid extended auto-attack exchanges because her attack speed scaling and E mobility will outpace your sustained damage outside of your cooldown windows.
Wave Control
- Push the wave aggressively early to deny her E stacks on minions, as her E passive requires stacking spears into targets and a slow wave gives her free setup.
- Crashing waves under her tower forces her to stand still last-hitting, which removes her mobility advantage and gives you repeated gank setup windows.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not blow your E aggressively without your W ready — if you dash in and miss or she sidesteps, you are a melee champion with no escape against a ranged champion who will immediately punish you with free autos.
- Respect her range advantage between your cooldowns and do not stand in the open waiting for abilities to come back.
