Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through superior engage potential with W and your tankiness, especially at level 2 when you can W-E-Q combo while Kai'Sa follows up.
  • Post-6 becomes more difficult as Veigar's E can counter your W engage and Jhin's R provides strong follow-up damage from range.

Synergy & Trading

  • Look for W engages when Veigar's E is on cooldown or when you can W past the cage walls, immediately following with E-Q combo while Kai'Sa stacks her passive.
  • Focus on engaging when Jhin is reloading or doesn't have his fourth shot ready for maximum follow-up damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam frequently after level 3 as your engage is valuable for mid/jungle skirmishes, timing roams when Kai'Sa has backed or when the wave is pushing toward your tower.
  • Your W-Flash combos are extremely strong for setting up ganks mid lane or securing objectives.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't W engage directly into Veigar's E as you'll get stunned mid-animation and take massive damage without accomplishing anything.
  • Never engage without checking Jhin's ammo count as his fourth shot plus reload time significantly impacts the trade outcome.
