Who Wins

Pre-6, you win level 2 if you hit W onto Xayah and immediately E to Syndra to proc the charm setup, but Alistar's level 2 W+Q is equally threatening and can interrupt your W mid-flight; the lane is roughly even in all-in potential pre-6.
Post-6, Xayah's R hard counters your R engage by making her untargetable, so you cannot reliably convert your R into kills unless Xayah has already burned it.

Your best pattern is to bait Alistar into using W+Q by walking aggressively, then E away to Syndra and reposition for a W engage onto Xayah when Alistar is on cooldown — Syndra's follow-up E stun into Q poke is your primary damage source, so you are the setup tool, not the damage dealer.

You should roam aggressively because your W has long range and your R covers enormous ground; optimal timing is when the wave is pushing toward Xayah and Alistar is forced to stay, as Alistar cannot follow your roam speed and Syndra can hold the wave alone.

Do not use your E to shield Syndra reactively against Alistar's W+Q if it means you have no escape tool — saving E to disengage or reposition is more valuable than absorbing one headbutt, since losing your mobility makes you vulnerable to Xayah's E root.
