Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the poke war entirely since Syndra outranges you and Rakan can disengage your W+Q with his E shield on Syndra; your level 2 all-in is strong but Rakan's level 2 is equally explosive and he can counter-engage.
- Post-6, your R makes you nearly unkillable during a dive, which combined with Xayah's R creates a mutual counter-engage situation that favors you in extended fights.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to absorb Syndra's poke with your passive healing, wait for Rakan to overextend or use his E on cooldown, then W+Q to displace both enemies into Xayah's feathers for the root — do not initiate when Rakan's E is up as he will simply shield Syndra and disengage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when the wave is shoved into their tower and Xayah can safely farm under pressure; mid roams are impactful because your W+Q is a guaranteed kill setup on most mid laners, and Rakan's roam threat means matching his roam timing is sometimes necessary to prevent him snowballing other lanes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W to engage onto Syndra when she has three or more balls orbiting her, as her E stun into R burst will kill Xayah before your Q knockup resolves, turning your engage into a free kill for them.
