Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Nautilus wins the level 2 all-in almost every time because his hook into root into passive shield chain is more reliable than your W engage at that stage, so avoid trading at level 2 unless you have a clear positional advantage.
  • Post-6, you can win the 2v2 if you land your R into W combo cleanly, but Nautilus's R will interrupt your W mid-flight if he reacts fast enough, making execution timing critical.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to bait Nautilus into using his hook on you or a minion, then immediately W onto Tristana and chain into Miss Fortune's R before Nautilus can follow up.
  • Your E shield on Miss Fortune before engaging gives her survivability during the R channel, which is the key detail that makes the combo work.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should not roam aggressively because Miss Fortune has no reliable escape and leaving her alone against Nautilus and Tristana is a near-certain death.
  • If you do roam, only do so after a successful recall where the wave is crashing into their tower and Miss Fortune is safely recalling at the same time.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your W as a pure engage without confirming Nautilus's hook is on cooldown, because he will hook you mid-flight or immediately after landing and chain CC your entire team.
  • Burning your W defensively or for a bad trade leaves Miss Fortune completely unpeeled against one of the strongest hook supports in the game.
