LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Kai'Sa are not dominant — Leona's level 2 spike is faster and more lethal than your W spike, and your W shield does not fully absorb a Leona E+Q+Caitlyn headshot combo.
- Post-6, you lose the 2v2 if Leona lands R first, so the entire post-6 dynamic is about who engages first.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to W-poke Caitlyn from range to force her off CS and bait her into stepping forward, then disengage before Leona can E you — do not commit your W as an engage tool unless Leona has already used her E, because a Leona E onto you while your W is on cooldown is a death sentence for Kai'Sa.
- Use W as a poke-and-retreat tool, not an all-in initiator.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam aggressively once the wave is frozen near your tower and Kai'Sa is safe, because your R+W combo on a mid laner is a high-value play and Leona cannot follow without abandoning Caitlyn.
- Optimal roam timing is after a crashed wave with Kai'Sa at full health and Leona's E on cooldown, so she cannot punish the 1v2.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use R as a peel tool when Leona engages — your R is an engage ability, not a disengage, and burning it reactively to try to knock Leona away will fail because she is already in melee range with CC active.
- Instead, use R proactively to counter-engage onto Caitlyn before Leona can E, forcing Leona to peel rather than engage.
