LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup clearly if you respect his E cooldown — at level 2 you can trade aggressively with Q into auto-attack patterns and he cannot sustain through your damage; post-6 his R becomes a serious threat because it is hard to dodge and sets up a full combo that can kill you, so the kill pressure equalizes and you must respect his engage range.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to proc your Q element on him, force him to use E to dodge, then immediately re-engage with another Q element plus W empowered auto-attack while his E is on cooldown, as he has no defensive tool left and you will win the extended trade decisively.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze to deny him the ability to roam freely, since Fizz's roaming post-6 is extremely dangerous and can snowball other lanes; if you can keep him occupied farming, you neutralize his biggest strength outside of the 1v1.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not chase him into melee range when his E is available — he will simply use it to negate your damage and retaliate, and overcommitting to a trade when he has E up is the primary way you lose this matchup or die to a counter-engage.
