- Pre-6, Qiyana has stronger early burst and better range on her Q, making levels 1-2 dangerous for you if she has an element active; post-6, your R gives you a reliable engage tool that Qiyana cannot simply dodge, and your E makes her all-in unreliable, shifting the kill pressure firmly in your favor.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait out her Q by walking toward her, then immediately use E to dodge her follow-up damage, retaliate with Q into W auto-attacks, and disengage or extend the trade depending on her cooldowns; never trade without E available since she will out-damage you in a straight exchange.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave early to deny her roam setup and force her to farm under tower, where her wave clear is weaker than yours; once you hit 6, you can look to freeze near your tower to bait her into overextending for a kill with R into full combo.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E purely as a mobility tool to chase or reposition carelessly — it is your only way to avoid her burst, and burning it offensively leaves you completely exposed to her full combo with no escape option.
