LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Lucian win the lane because your hook into Lucian's burst is the strongest short-trade pattern in the matchup and neither Lux nor Yunara can punish you for hooking from brush without vision.
- Post-6, Lux's R and Yunara's R dash make all-ins riskier, so you need to land hooks before Yunara activates her R or you risk her dashing out of your stun and sustaining through the fight.
Synergy & Trading
- Hook Lux preferentially over Yunara when both are in range, as Lux has no mobility and your hook into Lucian's burst will chunk or kill her; Yunara pre-6 is also immobile but Lux's long-range poke is the bigger threat to your ability to play aggressively.
- After the hook, use your E to reposition for a second engage or to cut off their escape rather than using it as your initiation tool.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam aggressively once you hit level 6 and the wave is pushed to the enemy tower, as your R execute is one of the strongest roam payoffs in the game and Lucian can manage the wave alone for a short window.
- Optimal roam timing is when Lux has recently used her R and is on cooldown, as she cannot follow or punish your absence with a long-range poke threat.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not hook into Yunara's R state when she has her dash available, as she will simply dash out of your stun angle and you will have burned your hook cooldown with Lucian out of position to follow up.
- Always check whether Yunara's R is active before committing your hook.
