Who Wins

Pre-6, Lucian+Pyke win most 2v2 trades due to Pyke's hook enabling Lucian's passive double-shot burst and their combined all-in pressure; you and Yunara can survive by playing at max range and using your Q root to punish overextensions, but you do not win extended trades at this stage.
Post-6, your R gives you a long-range execute threat and Yunara's R transforms her into a sustained damage dealer, shifting the power balance in your favor if you can land your Q to set up Yunara's empowered W laser.

Your job is to land Q on a hooked or rooted target so Yunara can stack her passive and follow up with her empowered W slow during R; the combo of your root into Yunara's extended fight damage is your win condition, not short burst trades.
Avoid using E aggressively to close distance since Pyke punishes immobile targets, so use it defensively and let your range do the work.

Push the wave consistently to deny Lucian his preferred short-range skirmish environment and to force Pyke to hook from unfavorable angles; a pushed wave also gives you vision control near the enemy tower which limits Pyke's roam window.
Do not freeze the wave as it invites Pyke to hook you in a cramped space where your long-range advantage is neutralized.

Do not waste your Q trying to poke Lucian when Pyke is in a bush or off-screen, as a missed Q root is a 10-second window where Pyke will immediately hook you and Lucian will all-in with no fear of your CC.
Always track Pyke's position before committing any ability.
