Pre-6, Miss Fortune and Taric win the 2v2 — Miss Fortune's Q poke and E slow deny your hook setups, and Taric's W sustain negates the chip damage you rely on to set up kills; you cannot all-in safely before 6 because Taric's R will negate your R execution.
Post-6, you gain kill pressure if you land a clean Q hook on a low-health target, but Taric's R still hard-counters your R timing, so you need to bait it out first or coordinate with Kai'Sa to force it before committing.

Your best pattern is to use W to reposition aggressively into a bush angle, then Q hook Miss Fortune who is often immobile and positioned forward, letting Kai'Sa follow up immediately — do not hook Taric, as his passive armor and R make him a poor target.
Avoid extended trades entirely; your value is the burst combo, not sustained fighting, so if the hook misses, disengage with W rather than staying in Miss Fortune's E slow.

You want a slow push or freeze situation where the enemy is forced to walk up to farm, creating hook angles — do not hard shove the wave because a pushed wave removes your ability to punish with W flanks and gives Miss Fortune free poke on Kai'Sa under tower.
Let Kai'Sa manage the wave while you look for roam windows after level 6 when the wave is in a neutral state.

Do not use R immediately when you hook someone if Taric has R available — Taric's R grants invulnerability and will completely negate your execution, wasting the kill setup and your cooldowns.
Always track Taric's R cooldown and either bait it with a fake all-in or wait for Kai'Sa to force it before you commit your R.
