LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane convincingly — your E blocks Swain's W root setup, your Q harass is longer-range than his auto-based trading, and your W stun into full combo kills him before he can stack enough drain to matter.
- Post-6 the lane flips: Swain's R gives him sustained healing and damage that outlasts your burst window, and if he survives your all-in he will kill you in the extended fight.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to Q poke him down to around 60% HP, then commit with W stun into E into ignite — you need to end the trade fast before his passive soul stacks and R sustain can compensate.
- Never let him root you with W first, as that lets him walk onto you and start a drain trade on his terms where he wins.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard early to deny him the passive soul stacks he wants from farming under pressure, and use your shove advantage to roam — your R roam threat is far more impactful than winning a prolonged lane against a scaling drain mage.
- After level 6 consider freezing near your tower so he cannot safely R into you without tower threat, since his R makes open-lane all-ins increasingly dangerous for you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to all-in him post-6 without ignite or significant HP advantage — his R healing combined with passive stacks means a failed burst attempt turns into you dying to a sustained drain fight.
- Many Pantheon players waste their lead by committing to a kill attempt when he has R available and end up feeding a kill that snowballs his sustain itemization.
