Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 to his superior range and poke, but can win if you land Q and force an all-in with W-E.
- Post-6 you become much stronger in 1v1s due to R removing his kiting potential and allowing you to stick to him.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is landing Q, immediately following up with W-E to maximize damage while the slow is active.
- You must commit fully to trades once you engage, as backing off allows him to poke you down for free.
Wave Control
- You want to keep the wave in the middle or slightly pushed toward you to create longer lanes for chasing with Q resets.
- Avoid letting him freeze near his tower where his range advantage becomes overwhelming and you can't threaten all-ins.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never waste your Q without follow-up potential, as missing it gives him 7 seconds of free poke and positioning.
- Don't try to trade when low on health without R available, as his burst combo can easily finish you before your passive becomes relevant.
