LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most extended trades if you land Q to close the gap, as Ashe has no mobility and your W sustain offsets her passive slow and poke damage; however, she can kite you effectively at level 1-2 before you have enough Q cooldown reduction from low health to keep pressure up, so early all-ins require a Q hit to be reliable.
- Post-6, your R makes you completely immune to her R crowd control and her W slow, which removes her entire defensive kit and makes you a guaranteed kill if you reach her with R active.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to open with Q to slow her and close distance, immediately auto-attack to proc your passive and stack W healing, then force a prolonged brawl where your sustain and true damage from Q outpace her consistent but lower-burst poke.
- Avoid short trades where she lands two or three autos and walks away, as her passive slow and W attack speed debuff let her dictate short exchanges in her favor.
Wave Control
- Push the wave aggressively early to force her under tower, where her kiting space is eliminated and your gap-close with Q becomes far more reliable in the confined space.
- If she freezes near her tower, do not dive recklessly without R; instead, shove the wave and look for jungle pressure or roam, as a frozen wave against a ranged champion without R is a losing position for you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste R defensively or as a panic button when you are already losing a trade; R is your primary engage tool that removes her CC and should be used proactively to initiate a kill attempt, not reactively.
- Burning R without a kill attempt gives her a long window to poke you freely while your most important ability is on cooldown.
