Who Wins

Pre-6, you win the 2v2 if you land your Q onto Tristana before she builds a significant jump lead — at level 2 you can chain Q into E root and force a kill or flash with Jhin's W slow and 4th shot.
Post-6, your R onto Tristana is a near-guaranteed kill setup since Yuumi's healing cannot outpace the lockdown chain, but Tristana's R knockback can interrupt your Q approach if she reacts fast enough.

Your best trading pattern is to Q-flash or hard engage onto Tristana (not Yuumi, who is untargetable), immediately E to root her, and let Jhin land his W and 4th shot during the lockdown — the combo is devastating because Tristana has no mobility tool to escape once your Q connects.
Never trade in short bursts; your kit is all-in oriented and partial trades favor Yuumi's sustained healing.

You should push the wave with Jhin to deny Tristana her passive stacks on minions and force her to use E aggressively to last-hit under pressure, which exposes her to your engage.
A pushed wave also means Tristana cannot freely use her E to poke you without risking being caught far from her tower.

Do not throw your Q from max range telegraphed — Tristana's E gives her a jump escape and a skilled Tristana will simply jump away the moment your Q animation starts, wasting your primary engage tool and leaving you cooldown-locked.
