LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Kayn — he has better mobility, faster burst, and can disengage before your W slow matters.
- At level 6, you can win a 1v1 if you land W immediately to root him in place, then stack Q autos while he cannot escape; without W landing, he will simply kite or dive through you with his E.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Kayn will likely run a fast full clear prioritizing the side of the map where he can collect Shadow Assassin or Darkin form stacks quickly, then look to gank or contest scuttle around 3:15.
- He will attempt to invade you at your second buff or weak side camps if he identifies you are farming passively, so ward your jungle entrances early.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Kayn pre-6 under almost any circumstance — he out-duels you at every early level and can disengage or re-engage at will with his Q dashes.
- Post-6, if Kayn is low from a fight or gank, you can counter-invade his camps to deny stacks, but only if you have vision confirming his position and health.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not neglect warding your jungle camps, as Kayn's primary strategy against you is to deny your Q stacking by stealing camps — every camp stolen sets back your power spike by minutes and makes you irrelevant in mid-game teamfights.
- Avoid using W reactively after he has already dashed through you with E, as the window to trap him is narrow and mistiming it wastes your only reliable CC.
