Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Yasuo are behind in this lane — Lux's E range is longer than your W range, meaning she can poke you safely before you can set up a bubble, and Jhin's 4th shot punishes any overextension.
  • Post-6, the gap widens further because Jhin's R and Lux's R give them kill threat at a range your R cannot reliably close unless you land it as a surprise engage from a bush.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to land your W bubble first to enable Yasuo's all-in, then immediately apply your E to Yasuo to amplify his damage during the engage window.
  • If your W misses, do not force the trade — retreat and reset, because without the bubble Yasuo's engage is too telegraphed and Lux will root him mid-dash.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roaming is very risky in this matchup because leaving Yasuo alone against Jhin+Lux is a near-guaranteed death for him — Lux can solo peel and Jhin can kite him indefinitely.
  • Only roam if the wave is crashed under their tower and Yasuo has his R available to disengage, and even then only for a very fast mid gank where your R provides the engage.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E on Yasuo before he engages — it telegraphs your all-in and gives Lux time to pre-position her E.
  • Also avoid burning your W as a poke tool at long range where it is easy to dodge; every missed bubble in this lane is a free window for Jhin and Lux to step forward and deal significant damage to both of you.
