Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you win the scuttle fight if you land your Q to proc bleed and let your packmates pressure Wukong simultaneously — he has no reliable disengage at this stage and your burst window is faster than his W escape if he hasn't used it yet.
  • From level 6, you need to bait his W clone before committing your full combo; if he decloaks and you haven't blown your key abilities, you can re-engage with your packmates still alive to secure the kill.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Wukong most commonly starts Red Buff side (Raptors into Red or Red into Raptors depending on side), then clears toward Scuttle with a full clear path — he prioritizes early ganks post-level 3 because his E gives him reliable gap-close into lanes with CC.
  • Expect him to look for a gank top or mid before contesting the second Scuttle, so track his pathing by watching which side lane gets pressure first.

Invade or Not

  • You should invade Wukong at his second buff around 3:15–3:30 if you started opposite side, as he will likely be low after his first clear and his W cooldown may be on cooldown from clearing — target his Blue or Red depending on your start.
  • However, do not invade blindly without packmates alive, as a healthy Wukong with W available can disengage and you will waste time without securing a kill or objective.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not commit your full combo into Wukong without first forcing his W — if he uses his clone to dodge your Q or your packmate aggro, you will be left with cooldowns up and he will out-trade you in the extended fight with his passive armor stacking and E damage.
  • Avoid fighting him in tight jungle corridors where his E knockup can pin you against a wall and negate your mobility.
