LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades if you land Q to close the gap and follow with W empowered auto-attacks, but Orianna's W auto-attack range and passive shield make extended trades punishing if she kites you; post-6, your R gives you a strong all-in window but Orianna's R can instantly turn the fight if she lands it on you and your packmates, making the 1v1 far less clean than it appears.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to use Q to dodge her ball positioning, close distance, and burst with E into W empowered autos before she can reposition the ball onto herself for the shield; if you let her keep the ball on herself, her passive shield and W damage will outlast your burst window.
Wave Control
- You want to shove waves quickly with your packmates to deny her safe poke and roam, since Orianna struggles to match your roam speed and your side-lane pressure is a meaningful threat; avoid letting her freeze or slow-push because she will poke you down with ball repositioning every time you step up to CS.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not all-in her when your packmates are dead, as your damage and tankiness drop significantly without them and she can simply kite you with W and Q while you have no follow-up pressure; also avoid walking into her ball's position carelessly, as a well-placed W detonation will chunk you before you can even start your combo.
