Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup convincingly, especially at levels 1-3 where your packmates give you a permanent damage advantage that Kayn cannot match with his early kit; force short trades repeatedly to whittle him down before he can build Rhaast sustain.
- Post-6, if he takes Rhaast the matchup becomes harder in extended fights due to W healing, so you must look to kill him before he completes his first item or transforms.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q to close distance and proc packmate attacks, then weave in auto attacks while your packmates deal passive damage, and disengage before he can land a full W channel on you.
- Short repeated trades are your win condition — never let him dictate a long sustained fight where his W healing becomes a factor.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave slightly pushed toward him so he is forced to walk up into your packmate range to last-hit, giving you free poke opportunities every time he steps forward.
