LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose most extended trades because Darius's W slow and E pull negate your mobility and let him stack his passive bleed, which outdamages your burst at early levels; you can win short trades at level 3 if you land Q from max range and immediately disengage before he can E you, but this window is narrow.
- Post-6, your R gives you a reset tool and burst spike, but Darius's R executes you before your combo completes if he has passive stacks, so you still lose most all-ins unless he is significantly low.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to poke with Q from outside his E range, let your packmates chip him down, and only commit to a full combo when he has no W or E available; the moment he flashes E or uses W, that is your window to all-in with E into Q into R.
- Never auto-attack repeatedly into him because each auto helps him stack his passive, which is the primary reason you lose extended fights.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave consistently to deny him the slow-push setup he prefers, because a frozen or slow-pushed wave near his tower lets him E you into tower range where you cannot escape.
- Use your Q to clear efficiently and force him to either take poke or lose CS, keeping the wave near his tower so he cannot freely engage on you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let him E you when you are at half health or below, because his passive bleed combined with R will kill you through your own R heal; respecting his E range is the single most important mechanical discipline in this matchup.
- Many Naafiri players burn E offensively and then have no escape when Darius pulls them, which is a death sentence.
