Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have a meaningful window to win trades, especially at level 2 when you have Q and W before he has soldier synergy established; post-6 his R creates a hard wall that punishes your all-in, so you must either bait it out or avoid straight-up diving him in lane.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q to poke his soldiers off-angle, then W directly onto him when his soldiers are repositioning or on cooldown — the pack damage during W is what actually wins the trade, not just the dash itself.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you early so you can fight near your tower where his soldier placement is more constrained; a frozen or slow-pushed wave also denies him the safe distance he needs to kite you with E-soldier combos.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not W into him when he has his R available and full health — he will R you into his soldiers, deal massive burst, and you will have no escape, turning your all-in into a death rather than a kill.
