Pre-6, your Q is the primary kill threat and your level 2 all-in with Xayah is one of the strongest in the bot lane — if you land Q on Ashe at level 2, Xayah's E feather pull is a kill.
Post-6, Ashe's R and Seraphine's R outrange your engage tools, so you transition to a reactive role using W to deny Seraphine's poke and E to protect Xayah from CC chains.

Your trading pattern is to use W to push the wave and zone Ashe off CS, then look for Q angles when Ashe overextends to last-hit or when Seraphine uses E offensively.
Once Q lands, immediately signal Xayah to E — do not wait, as Ashe's passive slow means she will not escape the feather pull.

You should roam post-6 when the wave is pushed and Xayah can safely solo-hold, as your Q is one of the most impactful roam tools in the game for securing kills in mid.
Avoid roaming pre-6 because Xayah is vulnerable to Ashe's sustained poke without your presence, and Seraphine can sustain through the damage.

Do not use your E on Xayah preemptively before Ashe's R lands — wait to see the projectile in the air before committing the shield, otherwise the cooldown will be wasted and Xayah will be chain-CC'd.
Mistiming E is the single biggest mechanical error in this matchup and directly causes Xayah deaths.
