LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Aurelion Sol outranges you significantly and his passive stars make approaching him costly, so levels 1-3 are largely in his favor unless you can force him to fight near walls where his Q travel distance is limited.
- Post-6, your R completely neutralizes his W escape and his passive stars, and you steal a percentage of his stats, making the Death Realm a near-guaranteed kill if you are ahead or even in gold.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to walk up during his E animation when he is focused on last-hitting, proc your passive three times with Q and auto-attacks, then activate W to convert the stored damage into healing before he can disengage.
- Force short all-in windows rather than extended poke trades, because his passive stars will out-damage you over long distances if you are not actively pressuring him.
Wave Control
- Play for short aggressive trades to stack your passive and build your W shield, then back off to heal — do not let him freely shove the wave and roam, as his W roaming is where he generates his real advantage.
- When you hit 6, look to R him immediately if he is within range, as denying him the ability to W away is the single most important power spike you have in this matchup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not chase him into the river or jungle when he uses W to roam — you cannot match his mobility and you will fall behind in CS while he creates leads elsewhere.
- Avoid standing at max range of his Q repeatedly, as a fully charged Q stun into his passive stars deals significant burst damage and can set up ganks against you.
