Who Wins
- You win level 2 trades with your cleanse negating Nautilus hooks and your sustain outlasting their damage, but you lose level 6 all-ins if Nautilus lands hook-ultimate combo since your cleanse has cooldown.
- Your disengage tools are stronger early game before they get multiple CC sources.
Synergy & Trading
- Use your cleanse reactively on Zeri when Nautilus lands hooks, then immediately shield and heal to negate the follow-up damage.
- Poke with your Q when Hwei is focused on farming, and use your ultimate proactively when you see Nautilus looking for engages.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should avoid roaming in this matchup since Zeri needs your protection against Nautilus engages and your sustain to match Hwei's poke.
- Focus on vision control around your lane and only roam when the wave is in a safe position and Nautilus has already roamed.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your cleanse on minor CC or poke abilities, save it specifically for Nautilus hooks that could lead to kills.
- Avoid face-checking brushes or getting caught alone, as Nautilus-Hwei has excellent pick potential and you're their primary target for eliminating your team's disengage.
