Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Naafiri if her packmates are already dead from camp clearing, because her Q damage and bleed are significantly weaker without the packmate proc bonus — activate W when she lands Q to negate the burst and heal through the bleed, then auto her down.
- From level 6, you win the 1v1 cleanly if you let her R and E combo land first, absorb it in W, then re-engage with your own R active, as her cooldowns will be burned and she has no reliable way to disengage from your sustained DPS.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Naafiri typically runs a three-camp clear into Scuttle, starting either Red or Blue and taking the adjacent small camp before crossing to the opposite buff — she clears slower than you and her packmates take damage during camps, so she often arrives at Scuttle with reduced packmate count.
- She may also look for an early invade if she spots your path, as her kit is designed around aggressive early skirmishing.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Naafiri after your second buff clear at around 3:10-3:20, targeting whichever buff she started opposite — her packmates will be partially damaged from clearing and her Q will be on cooldown if she just cleared a camp.
- The optimal location is her jungle entrance near her second buff, as catching her between camps with your Q to dodge her Q and W to sustain through her bleed gives you a decisive advantage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your Q to engage onto Naafiri when her packmates are at full health and she has Q available — you will take the full bleed damage plus packmate attacks while airborne, and her E repositioning can cause your Q to miss its return path.
- Your critical mistake is underestimating her burst window at levels 3-5 before you have sufficient lifesteal to sustain through her full combo with packmates active.
