Who Wins

  • You can trade favorably pre-6 by using Q knockback to interrupt his Q animation and kiting with saplings, but avoid extended fights once his passive is up.
  • Post-6 you lose the 1v1 badly in Death Realm since your utility is negated and he steals your defensive stats.

How to Trade

  • Use W root to guarantee Q knockback when he tries to chase you, then drop E saplings in your retreat path to zone him from following up.
  • Never try to face-tank his passive aura - use your mobility to hit-and-run while your abilities are on cooldown.

Wave Control

  • Focus on freezing the wave near your tower to deny him farm and force him to overextend for CS where you can set up ganks.
  • Use E saplings in brushes to provide vision and zone him from aggressive positioning.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't get caught alone in side lanes post-6 since his R completely removes your teamfight value and he wins the isolated duel.
  • Avoid using W engage on him in teamfights unless you can guarantee your team follows up immediately, as he can R you away from your carries.
