LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose this lane; Syndra outranges you, your passive shield is the only sustain tool you have, and you cannot meaningfully threaten her with Q or W at her poke range — do not attempt extended trades early.
- Post-6 your R completely flips the threat dynamic, and a single successful R into a wall or toward your jungler converts a losing lane into a kill, making you the dominant threat in the 1v1 if she is below roughly 60% HP.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to absorb a poke rotation behind your passive shield, then immediately walk up under the pretense of last-hitting to bait her into repositioning, and use that moment to Q her and W to shred her armor briefly before backing off; you are not winning extended trades, you are forcing her to respect your presence so she cannot freely poke.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you early so you farm safely under tower and reduce the window Syndra has to poke you without tower threat; once you hit 6, you want a slightly pushed wave so she is forced to stand in lane and you can look for an R angle rather than her being able to back off to safety behind her own wave.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your R as a pure escape tool or use it when Syndra has already E'd you and has her full combo ready — her E stun will interrupt your R channel if timed correctly, and burning your only kill-threat ability defensively leaves you with no agency for the next 130 seconds.
