- Pre-6, you lose short trades if Rek'Sai lands the W knock-up before your passive shield is up, but your Q slow and passive shield make extended trades increasingly favorable for you as the game progresses; post-6, your R gives you a decisive all-in advantage since it interrupts Rek'Sai's mobility entirely and your armor stacking makes their physical damage fall off sharply.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to absorb poke with your passive shield, use Q to slow Rek'Sai and reduce their damage output, then look for an extended trade where your armor and W passive shred their attack speed — avoid short burst exchanges early when your passive is down, as that is when you are most vulnerable.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you naturally to keep it near your tower, which denies Rek'Sai safe tunnel angles and forces them to overextend for farm; once you hit level 6, a slow-pushed wave crashing into your tower is the ideal setup to R-engage on Rek'Sai when they step up to last-hit.
Mistakes to Avoid
