LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you are a slow, low-damage support with no meaningful engage tool at level 1-2; Caitlyn will poke you heavily and Yuumi's healing sustains her through any chip damage you deal.
- Post-6, your R is a game-changing engage that Yuumi cannot easily counter since she must detach to dodge or stay attached and get hit — this is your primary win condition and the lane dynamic flips entirely at that point.
Synergy & Trading
- Your trading pattern is to use E to slow Caitlyn, absorb a headshot on your shield (W passive), then Q to reduce her attack speed — this limits her DPS window and lets Tristana jump in safely.
- Never walk up without your W shield active, as Caitlyn's headshot will chunk you hard and Yuumi's poke compounds the damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam post-6 when the wave is shoved into the enemy tower, as your R is a guaranteed engage on any overextended mid or jungler and your absence is less punishing than most supports once Tristana can hold lane.
- Avoid roaming pre-6 because Tristana has no peel and Caitlyn will dive her under tower with Yuumi's healing backing the aggression.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your R as a panic button when you are behind — it is your only true win condition in this matchup and using it reactively rather than proactively throws away the one moment where you have a decisive advantage.
- Also, do not stand in Caitlyn's trap zones, as the root into headshot combo will delete your HP bar before you can shield up.
