LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you are heavily favored at levels 1–2 purely through range, but the moment you miss Q or E and he closes with his own E, you lose the trade badly since you have no escape tool.
- Post-6 your R adds significant burst but does not change the fundamental problem — if he gets on top of you, your R is often wasted or mistimed under pressure.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to bait his E with lateral movement, punish the cooldown with Q into E combo, then back off immediately — never stand still to auto-attack after landing abilities because that's when he catches up and activates his Q three-hit cycle.
- Maintain maximum range at all times and use minions as body blockers to make his E path less clean.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave slightly pushed toward his side so he has less room to hide behind minions and you have more space to sidestep his E — a wave near his tower also means he must choose between farming and walking into your poke range.
- Avoid letting the wave crash into your tower since that removes your buffer space and lets him E onto you with no minion interference.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use Q and E simultaneously as a combo if he has E available — if both abilities are on cooldown and he dashes in, you have zero tools to stop him and will die in the resulting melee exchange.
- Stagger your abilities so you always have at least one CC on standby to interrupt his engage or create distance.
