LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a clear range and poke advantage over Viktor — your E outranges his E, and your Q root lets you set up free damage with your passive empowered auto.
- Viktor has no reliable way to close the gap safely before he has W augmented, so levels 1 through 3 are your strongest window to establish a health lead that forces him to play passively.
How to Trade
- Post-6, Viktor's R combined with augmented E creates a zone you cannot safely stand in, and his W prevents you from walking out of it cleanly.
- You need to use your R proactively to either finish him when he overextends or to deny him the ability to all-in you — do not wait to use R reactively once he has already dropped W on you, as you will likely be rooted and unable to escape.
Wave Control
- Your best trading pattern is to land E first to slow him, then Q to root, then immediately proc your passive empowered auto and follow with R if available.
- Avoid trying to Q first since Viktor can sidestep it more easily than your E — the E slow makes your Q significantly more reliable and the combo deals enough burst to force him off the wave or kill him if he's already poked down.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Avoid standing at a fixed distance from Viktor thinking your range keeps you safe — he can use Q's shield to absorb your poke and then walk up to drop W, which stuns you if you don't immediately move.
- Respect his W range and keep moving laterally when he walks toward you, because a stunned Lux inside Viktor's E range with R available is a dead Lux.
