Who Wins
- You dominate pre-6 with E poke and Q threat keeping Vayne at bay while your range advantage is maximized.
- Post-6 becomes more dangerous as Vayne's R makes her much harder to land Q on, and a missed Q often means death for you or Caitlyn.
Synergy & Trading
- Use E to zone Vayne from CS while Caitlyn autos, then look for Q when Vayne is forced to step up for farm.
- Save W for when Vayne commits with R, as the shield and movement speed can save Caitlyn from assassination attempts.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam mid at level 6 when you have R available and bot wave is pushing, as your ultimate provides strong gank setup.
- Also roam when Vayne recalls and you have a numbers advantage, but avoid roaming when Vayne is in lane as she can all-in Caitlyn.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste Q on minions or use it for poke when Vayne has R available, as missing it removes all your peel potential.
- Never face-check bushes or walk up without vision, as Lulu can easily set up picks with W into Vayne tumble.
