Pre-6, Tristana has short range early and Thresh's hook is the primary threat, so the 2v2 is roughly even if you respect the hook — your Q poke and W polymorph give you tools to win short trades, but Tristana's level 2 all-in with E jump is dangerous if Thresh lands a hook first.
Post-6, your R on Kog'Maw makes you heavily favored in sustained fights since Tristana's burst and Thresh's engage both get neutralized by the knockup and shield.

Your job is to W Thresh or Tristana the moment they commit to an engage, then Q the duo to slow them and let Kog'Maw freely apply W stacks at safe range — never use W offensively on a poke trade, save it strictly for when Thresh hooks or Tristana jumps in.
Shielding Kog'Maw preemptively during Kog's W window is also a high-value play since it lets him stand still and pump damage without dying.
