LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Aurora's range makes it difficult to freely stack Q nails on her without eating poke, and at level 1-2 she can simply walk away from your short-range threat, so early levels are largely unfavorable unless she overextends.
- At level 3 you have your full combo, but you still need 3 Q stacks on her before committing with E, meaning she has multiple opportunities to blind you or disengage before you can execute the burst.
- Post-6 her R gives her a reliable escape that can interrupt your combo mid-execution, so you need to bait it out or catch her without it available before going all-in.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade is to land 3 Q stacks on Aurora through patient poke at mid-range, then immediately E onto her and activate W to sustain through her counterattack while your stacked E-auto burst deals the bulk of your damage.
- Do not engage without stacks — your damage without Q stacks is mediocre and Aurora will simply out-range and out-poke you in a neutral fight, making stack setup the non-negotiable prerequisite for every trade.
Wave Control
- Play a slower wave strategy that keeps the wave near the center of the lane, giving you space to stack Q on Aurora without her being able to freely disengage under her own tower.
- Avoid hard-shoving because Aurora can match your push and you lose the ability to threaten her with your all-in when she has tower protection and you've wasted your E on wave clear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not activate W and commit to a full all-in if Aurora still has her R available and is at high health, because she can use R to reposition out of your W duration and you will have taken true damage for nothing while she escapes with the heal denied.
- Burning your W carelessly in a failed all-in is particularly punishing because it is both your sustain and your damage amplifier, and losing it on a whiffed engage leaves you vulnerable to her immediate counter-trade.
