Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you slightly win short trades if you land E first because the root delay forces LeBlanc to either burn W to escape or eat your full Q damage, but LeBlanc's Q mark detonation on W means she can burst you faster than you can respond if she gets the first hit.
  • Post-6, LeBlanc wins the all-in decisively unless you have R available, as her W-R(W) combo deals more burst than you can survive without your own R's invulnerability window to negate her damage.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is to bait her W engagement by standing near minions to reduce her dash angles, then immediately E her before she can reactivate W to return, forcing her to take your Q follow-up while rooted.
  • Never trade without E available, as without the root threat you have no way to prevent her from dashing out after dealing her burst and resetting safely.

Wave Control

  • Push the wave consistently with Q to deny LeBlanc her preferred poke range and force her to farm under tower, where her W dash angles are more predictable and you can punish her if she overextends for CS.
  • Avoid slow-pushing a large wave into her without vision, as LeBlanc will use the minion buffer to safely poke you with W-R(W) while you're occupied clearing.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use R reactively as a panic button after she has already committed her full combo, because by the time you activate it the burst has already landed and you've wasted your only tool that could have negated her damage.
  • Save R proactively when you see her W dashing toward you, as the invulnerability window is only valuable if it absorbs her damage mid-combo rather than after it.
