LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 at level 2 if you hit your E+Q combo before Brand or Mel can react — your all-in burst with Miss Fortune is faster than Brand+Mel's setup, but Mel's W reflection can negate your engage if she anticipates it and reflects your E projectile back.
- Post-6, you still win if you engage onto Brand first since he is squishier, but Mel's R global execute on stacked targets means a failed engage where both enemies survive with stacks can result in a double kill for them.
Synergy & Trading
- Engage onto Brand preferentially over Mel — Brand has no mobility and your E+Q stun into Miss Fortune's combo deletes him before Mel can react meaningfully.
- After Brand is dead or burned his cooldowns, Mel alone cannot sustain the 2v1 pressure even with her W, since her W has a cooldown and Miss Fortune's R can be angled to avoid reflection.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Do not roam unless the wave is crashed and your Miss Fortune is safely under tower — leaving Miss Fortune alone against Brand's stun and Mel's root is a death sentence since she has no mobility.
- If you do roam at level 6, time it immediately after crashing a wave and only if mid lane has a clear kill opportunity, as your R engage is a strong roam tool.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not blindly engage into Mel's W — if she activates her W as you throw your E, the projectile reflects and you lose your engage tool on cooldown while she gains movement speed to reposition.
- Watch for her W animation and either bait it out with a fake step-up or wait for it to expire before committing your full engage chain.
