Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Mel do not win the 2v2 cleanly — Leona's engage speed at level 2 outpaces your stun setup since you need Q to land first to stun with W, and Miss Fortune's burst during that window is lethal.
- Post-6, you have kill pressure if you can stack your passive on Miss Fortune during a skirmish and Mel's R detonates Overwhelm stacks, but you need Mel's E root to create the setup since you cannot safely engage yourself.
Synergy & Trading
- Use Mel's E root as your primary setup tool — when Mel roots Miss Fortune or Leona with her E, immediately land your Q stun into W+E passive stack combo for maximum burst.
- Never try to initiate the trade yourself by walking up, as Leona will engage on you the moment you step forward without Mel's root already in play.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Play the wave to slow-push and force Miss Fortune to stand in your AoE poke — a slow-push wave means she must last-hit in a cluster of minions where your W+Q AoE hits both her and the wave.
- Avoid hard shoving since a crashed wave gives Leona a free engage window with no minion interference.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your Q blindly into Mel's W zone — if Mel reflects your Q back, you lose your stun setup and are exposed to Leona's engage with no CC to stop her.
- Coordinate with Mel so she only uses W for Miss Fortune's R or Leona's E, not to accidentally reflect your own abilities.
