LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the direct scuttle fight against Hecarim if he reaches you with E, as his burst movement speed and Q spam will overwhelm your damage before your W passive provides meaningful bonus.
- From level 6, you win 1v1s by kiting with Q dashes, maintaining distance to stack W passive, and using your R defensively to survive his E burst then finish him in the aftermath.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Hecarim will most likely start his bot-side buff and path aggressively toward scuttle at level 3, looking to fight or zone you off it.
- He may also look for early ganks on pushed lanes given his E mobility, so expect him to prioritize lanes over deep jungle farming in the early game.
Invade or Not
- You should generally avoid invading Hecarim early, as his E engage in tight jungle corridors is extremely punishing and you lack the burst to kill him before he runs you down.
- If you must contest objectives, do so with vision control and by pre-positioning in open areas where your Q dashes give you escape angles rather than fighting him in narrow paths.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Hecarim reach you with E in a straight line — if you are caught without a Q dash available or in a narrow jungle corridor, you will take the full brunt of his engage and likely die or burn R.
- Avoid standing still to auto-attack him when he is closing distance, as your damage only becomes reliable once W passive has stacked, which requires surviving his initial burst.
